The Livingstone Foundation Provides Critical Support to Accident Survivor Samiru Laryea
The Livingstone Foundation (TLF) has stepped in to provide vital assistance to accident survivor Samiru Laryea, who is currently recovering from a serious motor accident that resulted in the amputation of his right arm.
On October 8, 2024, TLF’s Managing Director, Dr. Louisa Ansong-Satekla, accompanied by a dedicated team, visited Laryea at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital’s Surgical and Plastic Unit. During the visit, they offered emotional support, financial aid, and essential relief items to help him in his recovery. This visit marks the start of TLF’s long-term commitment to assisting Laryea as he regains his strength in the coming weeks.

As part of the foundation’s aid package, TLF provided Laryea with essential supplies, including bottled water, drinks, toiletries, and a financial donation to assist with his medical expenses. These supplies aim to make Laryea’s hospital stay more comfortable while ensuring he has access to the resources he needs during this difficult time. The foundation has pledged to continue supporting him throughout his recovery journey, offering ongoing help to aid his rehabilitation process.
